12th Annual World Patient Safety Science & Technology Summit
Livestreamed worldwide via Coresee Events
The challenge
With preventable medical harm still one of the leading causes of death globally, PSMF needed to break down the barriers keeping healthcare leaders, clinicians, and patient advocates from participating in its annual Summit. High costs and complex logistics had long limited the event's reach. For 2026, PSMF partnered with Coresee to expand access, enabling virtual attendance from anywhere in the world for the very first time.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
Website-embedded broadcast
The entire livestream was embedded directly on PSMF's website, giving remote attendees a seamless, on-brand experience without leaving the organization's digital home.
Global fellowship access
PSMF's international fellowship participants — students and advocates spread across the globe — could watch live and submit questions to panelists in real time.
8 hours of continuous streaming
Coresee handled a full day of uninterrupted live broadcast: keynotes, panel discussions, and patient story presentations delivered with sub-second latency.
Moderated chat for privacy
Every chat message required manual approval before appearing to all attendees — protecting participants and maintaining a professional, controlled environment throughout.
“By teaming up with Coresee, a best-in-class, HIPAA-compliant live streaming and collaboration platform designed to securely support an event of this magnitude, we are removing barriers to participation and ensuring that healthcare leaders, clinicians and patient advocates everywhere can engage in these critical conversations. Transparency, collaboration and accountability are how we save lives.”

Lobby & attendee capture
PSMF chose to collect each remote attendee's name and email at entry, creating a clean contact list ready for post-event follow-ups and future outreach.
Live Broadcast
The player background was matched exactly to PSMF's website color, making the embed completely invisible as a third-party tool, creating a truly native on-brand experience for every remote viewer.
Post-Event
A closing graphic automatically replaced the broadcast at the end of the day, thanking attendees for joining. The PSMF team was also able to download a full attendee report, including the name and email collected at the lobby, each participant's join and leave time, and the complete chat history from the event.
