A Starting Point

A Starting Point Logo

A Starting Point is a nonpartisan media organization producing civic content that connects Americans with their elected officials. With interview series, long-form discussions, and large-scale youth civics events all running through Coresee, ASP has built a full production workflow — from raw capture to polished broadcast — entirely inside a single platform.

INTERVIEWS

When interviewing elected officials, ASP records each participant as an individual ISO track. The interviewer's feed stays separate, so when the recording is downloaded, the final file contains only the official — clean, uncompressed, and overlay-free. No post-production cleanup required before publishing to their website.

LONG-FORM DISCUSSIONS

For ASP Chats — longer-form interviews and topic-driven conversations — the team uses Coresee Rooms with custom branding applied to the background and logo. Every session is recorded inside a fully branded environment, giving published content a consistent, professional look without any post-production design work.

MULTI-PARTY CIVIC EVENTS

For larger productions — including joint events with Bridge USA — ASP hosts sessions in Coresee Rooms with presenters on stage and attendees joining as viewers. Attendees submit video questions in advance so presenters can prepare, and when the session is live, those student video clips are played directly inside the room, giving young voices a visible role without disrupting the flow of the event.
